Pushpa Kashinath is one of the leading Veena artists of India. She hails from an illustrious music family,her father being Sri B. Vishwanth, a veteran violinist and her father-in-law being the famous violinist late Sri A. Veerabhadriah of Aruna Musicals. She is a grand daughter of the noted Harmonium artist of Karnataka Late Sri. Arunachalappa. With the musical genius in the family, she had her initial training in Veena from Smt T. Sharada and later from Late Sri Anoor S. Ramakrishna. She is an “A “ grade artist and is being regularly featured on the All India Radio and TV stations. She has performed all over India and USA.  She has to her credit number of awards including the award from the Karnataka government, Ananya Puraskar from the Ananya Academy of Arts and several others. She has released a number of CDs and Cassettes.
